Fall Bridal Market Recap!

The fall time is a fun time for us at Piera’s Bridal! Not only do we love our PSL’s and sweater scarves, its also bridal market time! We get to go to Chicago and New York every fall to see the newest collections from our designers. We come back so excited to share our new things with our customers, and even though we won’t get some of the new styles until after the new year, we wanted to share some of the trends we saw that you can find in store now!

Katrina and Piera Angela started off in Chicago and went straight to the Calla Blanche and L’amour fashion show.  We are so excited that Calla Blanche and L’amour put out a selection of veils that go with some of the bridal gowns!  They had a beautiful collection this season with gowns made of delicate and soft laces, but also some with elaborate appliques adorned with sparkle.  While long sleeves are definitely still on trend, we also saw some amazing strapless gowns.  Calla Blanche and L’amour created new bodices with extra structure and support for the strapless gowns that will make these dresses have an impeccable fit!

In New York Jill, Marina, and Piera Angela were blown away by the newest Eve of Milady collection! Eve always uses unique and elaborate laces and dramatic silhouettes! She used beautiful layering of different kinds of laces and patterns to give the dresses tons of dimension.  As always, lots of sparkle!

If “simple” and “classic” are words you would use to describe your bridal style you are in luck! Many of our designers showed beautiful mikado and satin ballgowns, and they have already started making an appearance in our store from Justin Alexander!

Stopping by the Hayley Paige showroom is always a highlight for us! Her dresses are always feminine, light, and delicate, and Hayley herself always makes an appearance and it is so much fun chatting with her about the new collection!

We also saw a lot of our favorite accessory designers as well and are loving the veil and headpieces that we saw!  Our brides will definitely be getting some “royal wedding vibes” with our accessories.  Dramatic cathedral veils that go on forever, and tiaras that are truly fit for a princess.  Tiaras and cathedral veils not your thing- we also have some beautiful hair combs coming as well as shorter veils with beautiful French lace, scattered pearls, and lots more!
